Why are these places special? Here, I will gradually be adding a few of the places I have visited –

Where important events have taken place, both in our country’s long history and in recent years
That have influenced our poets and authors and featured in their works
That have been used as settings in popular cinema feature films and television productions
That provide my favourite beautiful English scenes
