The South West Coast Path in this part of Dorset, attracts many visitors. Walkers generally leave their cars at Lulworth Cove, or the Durdle Door Holiday Park. The views here of the Jurassic Coast are spectacular. Swyre Head, between Durdle Door and Bat’s Head, provides memorable views of Durdle Door, St. Oswald’s Bay and the east coast of Dorset beyond. This Swyre Head is not to be confused with a hill of the same name, the highest point in the Purbeck Hills, which is further inland.
